I have been getting into watches a lot lately. Its interesting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I did make a post on George Washington’s Pocket watch and really got
more interested in pocket watches. So much so I started to check
where I could purchase one at a reasonable cost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I found several that were interesting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is recommended to manually wind the clockwork 10 times before going to bed every night to maintain time accuracy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n At first I thought it said ps:office workers – ment postal service workers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n That would be correct for sure. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n What actually hit me between the eyes was, “elderly people lack excercise and cannot provide enough power for pocket watches.”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n I have read it takes about 8 hours of body movement with a automatic I am not sure what that would translate into for the above pocket watch. <\/p>\n\n\n\n So how much movement or exercise will equal the winding of the If it takes about 8 hours for a wrist watch I think it would be close to If you move you arm enough with a wrist watch it will stay accurate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Since you don’t wear your pocket watch on your wrist, just moving My plan is to walk a mile each day to start off with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For me thats about 2400 steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Steps, stride, will vary from person to person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If not I will increase to 1 1\/4 mile = 3,000 steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Next if necessary i will increase to 1 1\/2 miles = 3,600 steps<\/p>\n\n\n\n The 2 miles = 4,800 steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If that ain’t enough to wind this pocket watch it should be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n To initiall know how many steps I need to walk each day I
