When your in a suggestible state a hypnotic suggestion can be given.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A suggestible state is like a focused state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When I was in the service a free hypnotic show was being offered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I went to this presentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One guy was on the stage speaking to a seated crowd of about 200.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He started telling us that he was going to give us a pre hypnotic suggestion first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He told us to relax and think of something nice and relaxing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Next he told us to put our hands together locking our fingers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said that next he was going to give a hypnotic suggestion to
all of us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said press your fingers tightly together and close your eyes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He repeated the phrase, press your fingers tightly together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He then said, I will count to three, give the command to release your grip and some of you will NOT be able to move your hands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said don’t worry, it just means you are more susceptible to
a hypnotic suggestion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He gave the command.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Then he said at the count of three you will open your eyes and
feel relaxed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I opened my eyes and released my hand grip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I looked around the room and saw some people who could NOT
release their hand grip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It was maybe 10 people?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Next he asked for those with the clasp hands to volunteer to come on stage with him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He picked 3 guys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
All walked up on the stage with clasp hands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He told then to relax and then told them at the count of three
they would be able to release their grip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
All three did.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Next he asked them if he could hypmotize them again and make them
do things under hypnosis?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They agreed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One guy was hypnotized to think he was superman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The other two guys were hypnotised to think they were looking<\/p>\n\n\n\n
at farrah fawcett.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He told the one guy to stick out his arms like he was flying and he did.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He to the other guys to look at the superman guy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They did and great big smiles popped up on their faces as they
starred and glared all excited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They thought they were looking at a movie star.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It was so funny.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He asked them what they though about farrah fawcett.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The 2 guys gushed and acted like melted butter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile superman just kept holding his arms out like he
was really flying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So funny.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This was all done verbally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It was all done fairly quickly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It was with their consent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Consent is the key word here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They were willing to have a suggestion by the guy on stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They were willing to be hypnotized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You can only be hypnotized if you are willing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hypnotized people are in a deeper suggestive state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Not everybody can be hypnotized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Only certain people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
From what I have read it points to higher IQ people
for some reason.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you are concentrating on reading this story you are
in a suggestive state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You are in a trancelike state because your attention is very focused and you are no longer aware of anything that is going around you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My point is its like you are “transported” with Dr Watch, so to
speak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When you read a book etc you are in the first stage of hypnosis.
You are not hypnotized but are in a trance like state of suggesstion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I can only speculate on this but what if you were willing to be hypnotized
